Ryan Top and Pant :: Black Burlap
This is the set that I have been waiting for in my own wardrobe.
I tend to be a jeans and t-shirt girl during the day, mainly because I can’t find the perfectly chic one-and-done alternative…that is until now.
The Ryan set has a way of elevating casual…it’s both flattering and easy. But ladies, these aren’t sweats! As my mother would say (lol..), “you will pass the dress code at the club.”
Funny enough I had a client recently liken this new style to an updated JLO/Paris Hilton era Juicy Couture tracksuit. She then got flustered and walked it back for fear of offense. Are you kidding? How flattering! That set was iconic…I should be so lucky.
The burlap is once again the star of this design. It shines by being both breathable & soft yet not delicate. All the colorways of this mid-weight fabric Ryan Set (except the tie-dye) are hand washable and meant to be air dried.
The luxurious silk waistband and cuffs are the details that matter. These special touches along with the matching silk scarf/sash are what make The Ryan Set so versatile. In true JH fashion it can be worn in a variety of ways.
Styling Tips ::
The top can be pulled down to line up with the bias cut high waisted pants. Finish off this look with the silk sash around the middle and voila you have a jumpsuit.
Now another option is letting the Ryan pullover ride up a bit to expose the midriff. Tuck the elastic silk band up and under if you’re interested in even more of a cropped look.
I wear my top over a bikini or a skirt or any cute bottom because it just works with so many pieces in my wardrobe. (It’s also my new go-to plane outfit.)
What is that wrap top in some of the images?!
THAT is my Candace balloon wrap top paired with the Ryan pant! In case you happen to have a Candace Slip Dress Set as well it is THE PERFECT mix and match.
